Oil Portrait –Still Life Coastal Landscape – 21 Hour Course
In this recording I will be taking you through the process of painting this old masters feel Still Life
Working from a Still Life palette, we will discuss the mediums required when working with oil paint and how to break down our painting into stages and overcome the challenge that oil painting can sometimes cause.
In this 21-hour course, and working from a master copy, you will be walked through each process, learning the importance of a limited palette, how to prepare your canvas, learn how to premix colours as well as building layers for the more complex tones that create difference between textures of, for example the sea & the sky.
Once you’ve completed this course, and with practice, you will have the confidence & technique to tackle your very own still life compostions.
Like all my classes/workshop, this is open to both beginners & improvers.

All Instructional videos are recorded from live zoom classes. Recordings have been edited so only the tutor can be seen and heard throughout demonstrations
